About Dr. Tolaymat

Abdullah Tolaymat, MD is a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist. Dr. Tolaymat provides expert care for children with different neurological diseases such as epilepsy (seizures), headaches, Autism, ADHD, movement disorders (tics, tremors,..etc), developmental delay, muscle weakness, and many more and has a special expertise in epilepsy evaluation and management in children.

After earning his Medical Diploma degree from Homs, Syria, Dr. Tolaymat had pediatric residency training at Marshall University in West Virginia then completed child neurology residency at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He then went on to practice pediatric neurology and epilepsy for several years at the University of Illinois, Children Hospital of Illinois, SFMC in Peoria, then at the Midwest Neurology Associates in Dyer, Indiana.

Dr. Tolaymat is double board-certified in Neurology with Special qualification in child neurology and is also certified in Epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Tolaymat is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana and Illinois.

Dr. Tolaymat is happily married and has 2 children. When out of his office and in his spare time, Dr. Tolaymat enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching soccer, table-tennis, calligraphy, music and travel.
